Our capelet is the perfect transitional garment; equally suited to wearing over formal dress, armor, or jeans and a t-shirt. Hooded and short, this piece is ideal for weather mercurial enough to need that extra layer, but too warm for a full length cloak. The capelet closes at the collar with a single leather loop and metal button.

 

We select 18oz wool of exceptional quality that is milled right here in Maine. Buying wool from a local supplier means that it is more costly than wool milled overseas, but we think that supporting local craftspeople is worth the extra investment.
